A South Korean company reportedly provided an operation and maintenance contract
for the 650 MW Malaya thermal power plant.
Power Sector Asset Liability Management said in a statement that its board of directors awarded Soosan ENS Sdn Bhd the 2019 Malaya TPP operation and maintenance service contract
.
The contract period is one year, or until the privatization
of the plant.
After passing all qualification and technical assessments, PSALM issued an award notice
to Soosan ENS.
Part of the liability under a service contract includes routine maintenance, management and maintenance or repair services
for the power plant and its equipment.
The Malaya TPP consists of a 300 MW unit, a pass-through boiler and a 350 MW unit with a conventional boiler
