China Petrochemical News Network reported on July 2, Southwest Petroleum Engineering Company Cementing Branch successfully completed the 139.

It is reported that the Dongfeng 502HF well is an appraisal horizontal well deployed in the Ziyang block.

In order to ensure that the casing is placed in place smoothly, the company optimized the cement slurry system according to the site conditions, perfected the construction plan, and determined the floating casing running technology and cementing construction related parameters; during the casing running period, engineering and technical personnel were stationed to supervise the whole process.

The cementing construction of this well was successfully completed in 42 hours, marking a new breakthrough in the cementing construction technology of floating casing in the Southwest Work Area, which is the key to the smooth running of the extended reach wells and complex wells in the Southwest Work Area.
