Recently, the Southwest Oil and Gas Hejia 206H well produced 407,000 cubic meters of natural gas per day, becoming the third high-yield well in the Heba gas field.

According to Liu Chengchuan, a senior expert from the Southwest Oil and Gas Exploration and Development Research Institute, the Heba Gas Field was deeply buried, thin in reservoirs, and low in production.

In recent years, Southwest Oil & Gas has established the Heba gas field productivity construction team to carry out multidisciplinary, multi-field, and multi-method joint research, innovate and form a series of efficient development technologies for tight and thin reservoirs, and realize the beneficial development of the Heba gas field.

Looking for relatively high-quality reservoirs in the crisp "Shandong Pancake"

"The Heba Jia-2 gas reservoir is like a Shandong pancake, with a crisp and thin layer, but almost on the whole surface.

According to conventional thinking, the reservoir is almost impossible to predict.

Through the classification and evaluation of sand-clastic shoals, the research team proposed for the first time that the lower limit of porosity of high-quality carbonate reservoirs is 4%, breaking through the constraint of 6% of the lower limit of porosity of high-quality carbonate reservoirs in the Sichuan Basin.

In order to revitalize the unproduced reserves of the Heba gas field and realize the commercial development of tight and thin interbedded gas reservoirs with water, the research team deepened the study of the geological understanding of the structure-lithological composite gas reservoir, clarified the enrichment rules, and proposed for the first time "shoal nuclear storage, high-level enrichment".

The research team also carried out productivity evaluation and dynamic analysis of test wells and production test wells, and strived to maximize the reserves and productivity of a single well.

Ensure that the kilometer-long horizontal section travels through the reservoir with a thickness of 3 to 5 meters

The Heba Jia-2 gas reservoir is ultra-deep, high-pressure and sulfur-bearing.

Southwest Oil & Gas optimized drill tool assembly, drilling parameters, optimized drill bit type, drilling fluid leakage prevention and plugging treatment agent, optimized horizontal section trajectory, three-way gas well bore structure, formed a long horizontal well trajectory precise control technology, and improved drilling speed significantly.

"After the application, the drilling cycle was shortened by 59.

At a depth of 5,000 meters, it is necessary to ensure that the horizontal section of more than 1,000 meters is passed through a relatively high-quality reservoir with a thickness of only 3 to 5 meters, which is more difficult than high-altitude tightrope walking.

Southwest Oil and Gas strengthened the integration of geological engineering research, geologically, combined with the resistivity logging data while drilling, geological seismic modeling and seismic waveform characteristics, accurately predict the depth of high-quality reservoirs; engineering, customized personalized drill bits, supporting high-efficiency long-life orientation Drilling tool assembly, geological engineering integration to carry out horizontal well dynamic tracking and trajectory adjustment, to achieve a high-quality reservoir drilling rate of 78%, laying a solid foundation for high production of gas wells.

After the gas well is drilled, the completion and commissioning is the key to "stop the door.

Liu Lin, an expert from the Southwest Oil and Gas Petroleum Engineering Technology Research Institute, said that the technology has been successfully applied to Hejia 201H, Hejia 202H, and Hejia 206H wells.

In the next step, the technology will not only continue to be used in the production wells of the Heba gas field, but also in the Yuanba gas field.
