    [Physical and chemical properties] Sodium diethylene triamine pentaacetate, appearance is colorless or light yellow liquid, content ≥90%, ignition residue ≤0.


    [Preparation method] After chloroacetic acid and sodium hydroxide are neutralized, sodium chloroacetate and diethylene triamine are reacted at low temperature , and the resulting product is purified to obtain the product DTPA


    ① The purification raw material of diethylenetriamine requires an effective content of more than 90%, and its impurities are generally derivatives of diethylenetriamine, which can be separated by distillation and collect fractions at 204~208℃


    ②The content of chloroacetic acid purification industrial products should be greater than 95% according to the national standard.


    ③Add chloroacetic acid in the proportion of raw materials into the reactor, add sodium hydroxide solution with good solubility, and then drip diethylenediamine and concentrated hydrochloric acid at constant pressure.

    [Application] DTPA has complexing or chelating effect on calcium, magnesium and iron scale-forming ions, and has a good scale-dissolving effect
