Sinopec News Network reported on June 30, the first "bow-shaped" horizontal section horizontal well J30-4-P11 well of North China Oil and Gas Branch was successfully completed.

Well J30-4-P11 is located in the high-quality reservoir development area of Jin30 well area in Dongsheng Gas Field.

The implementation of the “bow-shaped” horizontal section faces problems such as difficult wellbore trajectory design and control, large drag torque of actual drilling, and difficulty in running completion string.

Well J30-4-P11 is the first "bow-shaped" horizontal section horizontal well independently designed by the company.
