Suzlon Energy Ltd.

of a second wind power project by state-owned aerospace and defense company Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL).
It is understood that HAL's first 6.
3MW wind power project is located in Karnataka and was commissioned in July 2016
.
Suzlon also provided comprehensive operations and maintenance services for both projects for an initial period of 10 years
.
Chairman and Managing Director of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited said: "We are pleased that through this green initiative, HAL will reduce CO2 emissions
by around 25,000 tonnes per year.
The project will meet approximately 25% of the energy consumption in the Bangalore segment
.
We are committed to increasing the share
of renewable energy in the overall energy consumption of the company.
