China Petrochemical News Network reported recently that the ten-built Maoming high-end carbon decompression furnace successfully introduced fuel gas for a successful ignition and entered the oven stage, marking the start of the device to enter a new stage.

It is understood that the oven is to remove the free water and crystal water in the lining, so as to avoid the furnace body from bursting, bubbling or even the furnace wall collapsed due to the rapid rise of the furnace temperature during driving, and the large amount of water expansion, which affects the furnace wall.

In order to ensure a successful ignition of the device at the first time, the Shijian Maoming Project Department organized relevant technical personnel and operators to overcome the high temperature, make risk assessments in advance, and follow the site to implement safety precautions.
