Tenth Construction Sinochem Quanzhou Ethylene Project Steel Structure Main Body Successfully Completed

Recently, the main steel structure of Sinochem Quanzhou ethylene plant with a capacity of 1 million tons per year, which was constructed by the Tenth Construction Company of Refining and Chemical Engineering, was completed, successfully realizing another key construction node in the construction of the ethylene proje.

It is understood that the total installed steel structure of Sinochem Quanzhou's 1 million tons/year ethylene plant is as high as 18,000 tons, which is a key line in the construction of the entire ethylene proje.

In the face of frequent heavy rainfall in Quanzhou, Fujian since the beginning of spring this year, the project department continued to strengthen the safety management and control of steel structure construction, and increased the depth of modular prefabrication of steel structures through secondary design to reduce the risk of construction workers working at heigh.

At present, with the successful completion of the construction of the main steel structure of the ethylene plant, the participating employees of the project department will further complete the new steel structure construction tasks brought about by the design change, creating favorable conditions for professional construction such as process piping, equipment installation, and electrical instrumen.
