Sinopec News Network reported on August 10 that the cumulative gas production of Well DPS-39 in Daniudi gas field exceeded 100 million cubic meters, making it the second horizontal well in the gas field that exceeded 100 million cubic meters
.

The well has been in continuous production for 8 years and is still producing 16,000 cubic meters of natural gas every day.

Well DPS-39 is a horizontal development well designed and deployed in the D12 well area by the Exploration and Development Research Institute of North China Oil and Gas Branch.

Geologically, the well is located in the superimposed development area of He1 and Shan 2, with a large sand body thickness and a sand thickness of more than 18 meters; in geophysical prospects, the well is located in a favorable area for porosity and gas saturation inversion

In the next step, researchers will focus on research work such as flow unit research, fine geological modeling, and quantitative description of remaining gas, and implement the next step to adjust potential target areas to form targeted adjustment strategies for tight sandstone gas reservoirs, and stabilize the production of Daniudi gas field.
