As of October 19, the Haminan-Zhengzhou ± 800 kV UHVDC transmission project (hereinafter referred to as "Hazheng DC") has accumulated 300.
371 billion kWh of electricity, breaking through the 300 billion mark
    .

Hazheng DC is the first UHVDC transmission project implemented by the state to implement the strategy of "Xinjiang power transmission", the project starts from Hami, Xinjiang, ends in Zhengzhou, Henan, the route passes through Xinjiang, Gansu, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Henan six provinces (regions), with a total length of 2192 kilometers and a rated transmission power of 8 million kilowatts, which has played an important role
in promoting the large-scale allocation of China's energy resources, ensuring national energy supply, promoting economic and social development, and promoting energy conservation and emission reduction.

Since it was put into operation in January 2014, Hazheng DC has continuously transmitted clean energy from Xinjiang to central China, making positive contributions
to the optimal allocation of energy in the country and the electricity consumption of people in East China.
Especially during the rescue and disaster relief in Henan in 2021 and the peak summer in 2022, the Hazheng DC project has effectively alleviated the tight supply and demand of
    electricity in central China.

At present, the power grid has entered the peak winter stage, in order to ensure the smooth flow of Hazheng DC transmission channel, State Grid Xinjiang Electric Power Co.
    , Ltd.
has established a special operation and maintenance power protection mechanism, through the "daily comparison, weekly analysis, monthly summary" working mode, constantly improve the lean management level of equipment, carry out special patrol and special protection for large-load lines, transformers and other equipment, increase equipment patrol vision, strengthen equipment maintenance and overhaul management, conscientiously implement and refine various work requirements, improve various emergency plans, and do a good job in emergency material reserves and emergency team training.
Strive to ensure the safe and stable operation of
    Hazheng DC.

It is understood that in the past ten years, driven by Hazheng DC, the new energy industry in Hami region of Xinjiang has developed rapidly, and the installed capacity of new energy has reached 14 million kilowatts, accounting for 38%
of the total installed capacity of new energy in Xinjiang.
