Enterprise Holland RVO has announced that it will start accepting applications for support programs for innovative energy projects from April 3, 2018, which will include specific solar and wind energy components
.
Overall, the program's budget for this year is 130 million euros, the same
amount allocated by the Dutch government in 2017.
RVO emphasized that these incentives will be awarded to scientific institutions and businesses
that combine sustainability and economic growth in energy-related projects.
The program is the responsibility
of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate.
This year's program will also be open to interested businesses or research institutes in Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba, three special municipalities
in the Netherlands located in the Caribbean.
The program will support research and development projects
in sustainable energy, energy efficiency and grid integration.
Only projects submitted by a consortium that includes at least one enterprise can be accepted, with the exception
of energy innovation demonstration projects (DEIs) and early-stage pilot projects.
In addition, a consortium of enterprises can only submit projects
that have not started before the subsidy application.
