    Recently, BASF, SABIC and Linde announced that three companies have begun construction of the world's first large-scale electric heating steam cracker demonstration plant
    .


    It is reported that the demonstration plant will be fully integrated into an existing steam cracking plant of BASF in Ludwigshafen, and the commissioning date is scheduled for 2023
