    Recently, Royal DSM of the Netherlands announced that its feed additive Bovaer for reducing methane emissions in dairy cows has been approved by EU member states and is expected to complete EU registration in the next few weeks


    DSM said that Bovaer, a feed additive for ruminants, will contribute to the development of green agriculture in the EU and the "farm to fork" environmental strategy


    Methane contributes 28 times more to global warming than carbon dioxide


    DSM has begun large-scale construction of the Bovaer plant at its production site in Dallay, Scotland, and has partnered with several major dairy companies
