The First Modern Energy Industry Development Conference opened in Baotou

People's Daily Online, Beijing, April 28 (Sun Yang) On the morning of April 28, the First Modern Energy Industry Development Conference opened in Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

At the meeting, Meng Fanli, member of the Standing Committee of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Secretary of the Baotou Municipal Party Committee, delivered a speech saying that Baotou City has determined the strategic goal of building an important modern energy industry base in the country and vigorously developing a modern energy economy in the "14th Five-Year Plan".

According to reports, this centralized contracted project involves 8 industrial fields, including: 17 modern energy projects with a total contractual investment of 61.

Since October last year, Baotou City has taken "promoting high-quality development" as the theme, "deepening supply-side structural reforms" as the main line, and focused on building "four bases, two centers, one highland, and one system" as the main attack direction.

The conference was hosted by Baotou Municipal People's Government, People's Daily Online, China Energy Conservation Association, China Investment Association Energy Investment Professional Committee, and co-organized by People's Audiovisual, China Merchants Shekou, Inner Mongolia Institute of Modern Energy Economics, TBEA New Energy, and Inner Mongolia Bank.
