Sinopec News Network reported recently that the exploration branch took 19 days to complete the fracturing of a total of 30 sections of the Dongye Shen 2 Well in stages
.

The well is a pre-exploration well deployed by the exploration branch on the east slope of the Dongxi structure in the Qijiang fold belt in the southeast of Sichuan.
It is targeted at the Wufeng Formation-Longmaxi Formation shale reservoir.
The drilling depth is nearly 6000 meters, and the horizontal section is over 1500 meters long.
