EV charging stations may not yet be the perfect clean energy solution for those seeking 100% renewable energy, as it is uncertain where the electricity will come from
    .
Recently, the Dutch company combined solar panels, electric vehicle charging technology and Tesla energy storage batteries, so that the charging station can achieve 100% clean energy power supply
    day and night.

It is reported that the plan is one of the "Smart Solar Charging" projects launched by LomboXnet and local partners, and the Dutch city of Utrecht has connected 20 charging stations with 200 solar photovoltaic panels and Tesla's 400kW/800kWh energy storage system, allowing electric vehicles to use solar power to supplement energy during the day and charge
    Tesla batteries at night.

In order to demonstrate the performance of charging stations, the plan is also working with French automaker Renault to exhibit 20 Zoe electric vehicles
    at the same time.
Renault worked with LomboXnet, ElaadNL and Utrecht City Council in 2016 to contribute to the Smart Solar Charging project, with Renault promising to deliver 150 Zoe all-electric vehicles in 2017, ElaadNL will manage infrastructure and charging station standards, and LomboXnet will install charging stations
