The deep sea is known as "the most tranquil and mysterious place on earth", where ancient prokaryotes live and rich in natural resources, which are of great significance to the future of mankind.
The joint team of Tianjin University's School of Oceanography and the School of Chemical Engineering proposed a design strategy of "high-efficiency oxygen-philic catalyst for deep-sea oxygen-poor environment seawater batteries".
"In the next step, we will test this new material in the extreme deep-sea environment.
