China Petrochemical News Network News Since this year, the third oil production plant of the Northwest Oilfield has improved the accuracy of reservoir interpretation through comprehensive investigations and systematic combing of logging data.
It has achieved expansion and reserves increase in 4 areas including TP12-8 and T759, and a total increase in natural gas reserves.
910 million cubic meters, with 241,000 tons of condensate reserves
    .

Among them, there were 9 wells that implemented refilling measures on old wells, with a cumulative increase of 4,801 tons of oil and 14.

The clastic oil and gas reservoirs in Tahe Oilfield are shallow in depth, thin in thickness, complex in layer structure, and difficult to exploit
    .

The plant actively introduced "foreign aid", established a cooperative relationship with the Northwest Oilfield Exploration and Development Research Institute and Shengli Oilfield Dongxin Oil Production Plant, and jointly established the Tahe Oilfield Clastic Rock Reservoir Rolling Edge Expansion Project Team Technical Project Team
    .

After communication and in-depth integration, the three-party technicians first used the rolling edge expansion of the TP265X well as a breakthrough point

After the TP265X well was drilled with acid fracturing in 2013, the fluid supply was insufficient, and it was parked for many years
    .

The technical staff of the project team believes that the Ordovician of the adjacent wells in the well area are all small fractured caves, with great difficulty in tapping the potential, and the overlying clastic rock in the Cretaceous Shushanhe Formation has a 3.

Subsequently, the Cretaceous Shushanhe Formation of Well TP265X was perforated for production, and bridge plugs could be drilled and ground under the formation to protect Ordovician reservoirs
    .

After the well is perforated, it will produce more than 30,000 cubic meters of natural gas per day, and the validity period is predicted to be more than 400 days

The success of the well has inspired the project team's technical staff to have confidence in the rolling edge expansion and layer expansion of the clastic oil and gas reservoir
    .

Then, exploratory development was carried out on the clastic oil and gas reservoirs of 8 wells including TP204, T759, and TK895X, with a daily increase of more than 200,000 cubic meters of natural gas

Well TK895X achieved the first breakthrough in the clastic oil and gas reservoirs of the overlying strata in the S86 well block, producing more than 20,000 cubic meters of natural gas per day, expanding the oil-bearing area of the clastic oil and gas reservoirs in the Tahe 8 block
