    Recently, the government of Australia's Northern Territory approved the development of a 25 MW solar project near Catherine, jointly developed by Epuron and Island Green Power

    The project supports the government's recently announced electricity market reforms to provide lower costs and reliable electricity and reach the government's target
    of 50% renewable energy by 2030.

    The Northern Territory government has also agreed to a long-term power purchase agreement
    for the project, government-owned electricity retailer Jacana Energy.

    The PPA between Jacana Energy and Katherine Solar will be able to build a $40 million project, create more than 100 jobs during construction and become the largest renewable energy generator leader
    in the Northern Territory.
