PEACE Cable International Network partnered with Cyber Internet Services (Cybernet) to complete the construction
of the Pakistan section of PEACE Cable.
The Pakistan-Egypt part of the system has been finally spliced, enabling a connection
from Karachi (Pakistan) to Marseille (France).
The Pakistan-Egypt section of PEACE connects Karachi, Pakistan and Zafarana (Egypt) with a total length of 5,800 km
.
The landing in Karachi was completed in March 2021, followed by a landing
in Zafarana in December 2021.
This section is interconnected with the PEACE-MED branch of Abtalat (Egypt); This 3,200km section of PEACE-MED was certified serviceable (RFS) in March 2022 with additional landing sites
in Cyprus, Malta and Marseille (France).
Cybernet and PEACE Cable signed a landing party agreement
in April 2019.
Cybernet, as PEACE's landing partner in Pakistan, has built the country's most advanced landing station in Karachi, which will allow global operators, content delivery networks (CDNs), content providers, and virtually all IT-enabled companies to leverage submarine cable capacity
at interconnection points that are easily accessible across Pakistan.
PEACE optical cable system, connecting Asia, Africa and Europe, landing in Pakistan, France, Egypt, Kenya and other regional countries

PEACE has a capacity of up to 96Tbps in the Pakistan-Egypt segment and up to 192Tbps
in the Mediterranean segment from Egypt to France.
By deploying the PEACE cable system, Pakistan will gain access to high-speed, high-capacity internet bandwidth with fast connectivity
to France.
With its ultra-low latency design, this cable reduces latency between Pakistan and France to 92 milliseconds
.
This will improve the response time of internet-based applications and the experience of Pakistani users, while providing much-needed redundancy
to Pakistan's internet infrastructure.
The increased capacity will eventually be able to provide Pakistani citizens with ultra-fast bandwidth connections with speeds comparable to those in cities such as Hong Kong, Singapore, and New York
