The purge of the styrene steam pipeline in the ten-build Gulei refining and chemical industry is completed

China Petrochemical News Network reported on April 11 that the steam purging of the high-pressure pipelines of the 600,000-ton/year styrene plant at Shijian Gulei Refining & Chemical Co.

It is understood that the total length of the purging pipeline is about 800 meters, and the purging scope is divided into the main gallery of the device and the compressor unit, including the dehydrogenation reaction system, the benzene/toluene tower C-201 system, and the high and low pressure crude styrene tower.

The main gallery where the steam pipeline is located is 134 meters long, 11 meters wide, and 24.

Before the purge work, the project department verifies the purge pressure gauge, cooperates with the workshop to determine the installation positions of the muffler, operating valve, and target plate, and installs temporary pipelines.

During the entire purging process, the Shijian Gulei Refining and Chemical Styrene Project Department strictly enforced the operation specifications, and the purge construction inspection was in place, and signs and cordon lines were hung outside the pipeline to ensure the safety of the operators.
