As of December 15th, the continuous reforming unit of Daqing Petrochemical Company's refinery after more than 6 months of trial and error has processed a total of 38,000 tons of ethylene cracking raffinate, and a total of about 70,000 tons of naphtha was replaced.
Daqing Petrochemical Company is an integrated enterprise of refining and chemical industry
According to Yang Zhenbo, process director of the workshop, this continuous reforming unit was newly put into operation at the end of last year.
"Because the blending ratio of ethylene cracking raffinate is about 10%, subsequent operations need to be optimized and adjusted, which is more difficult
Yang Zhenbo said: "We are also using enhanced heat transfer technology in the design of the heating furnace to increase the heat transfer in the radiant chamber, and reduce the furnace temperature under the same working conditions, which not only reduces gas consumption, but also improves the efficiency of the heating furnace
In addition, because the ethylene cracking raffinate contains a small amount of sulfolane solvent, the dry point of the distillation range is higher, reaching 190°C due to the influence of the residue of Engel's distillation
Under the coordination of the refinery, the workshop will introduce ethylene cracking raffinate to the reforming raw material tank area at a rate of about 10 tons/hour, and use it with straight-run naphtha, hydro-refined naphtha, and hydro-cracked heavy naphtha.
Yang Zhenbo also introduced that the ethylene cracking raffinate contains a certain amount of sulfolane, and the ethylene aromatics unit often needs to add a silicon-containing defoamer due to sulfolane foaming in the later stage of operation.
The device is designed with a dearsenic reactor.
"From the data of the past six months of operation, no silicon content exceeding the standard has been found in the reforming feed, and the effect is very good
