On September 2, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology held a press conference on "Promoting the High-Quality Development of the Raw Materials Industry"

According to Chen Kelong, as of now, 1,139 of the 1,176 hazardous chemical production enterprises included in the relocation and reconstruction plan have been completed, with a completion rate of 97%

Chen Kelong said that through the implementation of relocation and transformation, a total of 40 major sources of danger have been eliminated, and the safety and health protection distance of hazardous chemical manufacturers has been solved.

In the next step, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will work with the members of the special working group to continue to promote the relocation and transformation of hazardous chemical production enterprises to ensure that the task is fully completed in 2025
