The research project of Tianjin University School of Chemical Engineering won the first prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award

On the morning of November 3, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council solemnly held the 2020 National Science and Technology Awards Conference in the Great Hall of the People.

According to reports, based on the source and structure of China’s ethylene raw materials, the project has developed complex raw materials million for light raw materials such as light hydrocarbons and naphtha, heavy raw materials such as diesel and hydrogenated tail oil, and high-olefin unconventional raw materials.

This project is the first large-scale complete set of ethylene plant using domestic technology.

The R&D and industrial application of this complete set of technology has led the technological progress of China's ethylene industry, supported the rapid development of the ethylene industry, and strongly promoted the development of China's petrochemical industry, equipment manufacturing industry, and related industries.
