    com recently, the fourth construction company's scientific and technological progress project "safe, efficient and environmentally friendly large-scale liquefied natural gas receiving station complete technology development and industrial application" won the first prize of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation Science and Technology Progress Award, and also won the China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation The first prize of 2020 Science and Technology Progress Award.


    In the field of LNG receiving station engineering storage tank construction, the Fourth Construction Company is currently the domestic construction company with the earliest LNG storage tank construction, the largest construction storage tank volume, and the most storage tank structure in China, and it is in a leading position in the domestic LNG storage tank construction market.
    Since the Fourth Construction Company participated in the construction of my country’s first LNG project in 2004, up to now, it has participated in the construction of 22 sets and 39 units, including cryogenic storage tanks and LNG receiving station projects, and storage tanks with a volume of 160,000 cubic meters and above.
    There are 24 tanks, realizing the full coverage of the structure and capacity of the existing domestic low-temperature storage tanks.


    In terms of technology, the Fourth Construction Company carried out technical research around the core technology of the LNG receiving station, completed the mass concrete pouring technology of the storage tank bottom plate, the combined large formwork construction technology of the concrete outer tank wall, and the modular installation technology of the tank top platform.
    The research and development of the welding process of 9% Ni steel has contributed to the development of the domestic welding process of large-scale LNG storage tanks in China.
