Sinopec News Network reported on May 28 that the second phase of the Shandong Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) project of the Natural Gas Branch was delivered ahead of schedule.

The second phase of the Shandong LNG project is a key project for the conversion of new and old kinetic energy in Shandong Province, as well as a key project of Sinopec.

The main content of the second phase of the project is two 160,000 cubic meters of LNG storage tanks and supporting facilities.

The project ahead of schedule has laid a solid foundation for the completion of the group company's goal of "increasing the storage capacity of LNG storage tanks by 198 million cubic meters", and injected new impetus into the construction of Sinopec's natural gas production, supply, storage and marketing system.
