Recently, focusing on the standardized development of lead-acid batteries and recycled lead industry, the Waste Lead-acid Battery Recycling and Cleaner Production New Technology Exchange Conference was successfully held
with the theme of standardizing the development of lead-acid batteries and recycled lead industry, sponsored by the Recycled Metals Branch of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association.
With the theme of promoting the recycling of waste lead-acid batteries and the exchange of new technologies for clean production, the conference deeply implemented the latest national industrial policies, regulations and related requirements, exchanged key common technologies, complete sets of equipment development and industrialization application of lead-acid batteries and recycled lead industry, actively promoted the technological progress of recycled lead industry, and supported the resource utilization and development of
the battery industry.
Bi Junsheng, deputy director of the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, fully affirmed the results achieved in the standardized development of lead-acid batteries and recycled lead industry in China since the implementation of the "Opinions on Promoting the Standardized Development of Lead-acid Batteries and Recycled Lead Industry" issued by the five departments of the State Council
.
Bi Junsheng emphasized that the current implementation of the "Recycled Lead Industry Access Conditions" is an important starting point for standardizing the development of the industry, and through the implementation of industry access, further guide production factors to gather in leading enterprises, gradually improve industrial concentration, and enhance the comprehensive competitiveness
of the industry.
Wang Jiwei, vice president and secretary general of the Recycled Metals Branch of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, pointed out that with the support of national ministries and commissions, the promotion of industry associations and the efforts of enterprises themselves, China's recycled lead enterprises have continuously improved their independent innovation capabilities, the pace of technological transformation has been further accelerated, a number of waste lead-acid battery pretreatment equipment has been localized, and a number of green energy-saving smelting and environmental protection equipment have been promoted on a large scale, making important contributions
to achieving the industry's energy-saving and emission-reduction goals and improving resource utilization efficiency.
