    Recently, the research team of Huang Qing, a researcher at the Hefei Institute of Material Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, have provided a simple method for distinguishing astaxanthin, a polymorphic chiral biological macromolecule, using Raman spectroscopy


    Studies have shown that astaxanthin with different chirality has different biological activities and functions


    Researchers use Raman spectroscopy to propose a method to distinguish between left-handed, right-handed and meso all-trans astaxanthin
