    After years of hard work, the Petrochemical Research Institute has successfully developed 6 new catalyst preparation technologies such as flexible regulation of pore structure and non-uniform distribution of active metals, overcome the problem of preparation of special macropore carriers suitable for the diffusion of residue macromolecules, and designed and developed 4 series of 12 grades of residue oil hydrogenation catalysts with gradient, bimodal peak, smoothness and concentrated pore integration characteristics, realizing the optimal gradation
    of various catalyst functions 。 PHR series catalysts have undergone small-scale testing, pilot test, industrial scale-up, 6000 hours of long-cycle operation of pilot plant and 10,000 hours of hanging basket test of industrial device, and the results show that the performance index of the catalyst is comparable to the international advanced level, which fully meets the needs of the existing fixed-bed residue oil hydrogenation technology
