The Coca-Cola Company has launched the world's first recycled beverage bottle made from recycled ocean plastic waste

The recycling technology for plastic waste is the result of a collaboration between The Coca-Cola Company and the Dutch startup ioniqa technologies and indorama ventures, one of the Coca-Cola Company's PET plastic suppliers

"For now, this enhanced recycling is expected to be introduced on a commercial scale, using existing recyclers' waste streams, including previously unrecyclable plastics and lower-quality recyclables,
