    Shanghai, China/Munich, Germany, August 15, 2019 – Clariant has announced the successful commissioning of its CATOFIN catalyst at Hengli Group’s new mixed-feed dehydrogenation pla.


    The plant uses a state-of-the-art process that combines Clariant's CATOFIN catalyst with process technology from McDermott's Lummus compa.


    Established in 1994, Hengli Group is one of the leading petrochemical products suppliers in Chi.


    Peng Guangqin, Chief Engineer of Hengli Refinery, said: "We are very proud of the company's achievements on this pioneering proje.


    CATOFIN is a very reliable technology for dehydrogenation of light hydrocarbo.


    Stefan Heuser, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Clariant's Catalysts Business Unit, added: "We are honored that our CATOFIN catalysts and heat generating materials have been selected by Hengli for their new production facili.
