The 200,000-ton/year polypropylene plant adopts the process technology based on the domestically produced third-generation ring-pipe polypropylene technology.
The completion and commissioning of the 200,000-ton/year polypropylene plant signifies that the project group of Tianjin Petrochemical has been fully connected, and it will help Tianjin Petrochemical complete the Bohai Rim refining and chemical integration as soon as possible.
The chemical industry base has laid a solid foundation; at the same time, it will also meet the deep processing needs of propylene products increased by the refinery upgrading project, and improve the level of the polyolefin industry chain

On April 16, 2019, the piling construction of the 200,000-ton/year polypropylene plant started, and it was handed over smoothly on November 26, 2020.
So far, the plant has shifted from the project construction stage to the production preparation stage
