Sinochem News on July 6, Total Energy and Veolia Group (Veolia) announced that the two parties will join forces to accelerate the development of technologies that utilize carbon dioxide to cultivate microalgae

With the long-term goal of producing biofuels, the two parties will use their respective expertise to carry out a four-year research project at the La Mède biorefinery operated by Total Energy

After maturation, these microalgae can be converted into a new generation of low-carbon intensity biofuels
