1 Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of trimethylolpropane for industrial use

This standard is applicable to the production, inspection and sales of trimethylolpropane obtained by condensation reaction of formaldehyde and n-butyraldehyde as raw materials under the action of a catalyst .
