China Petrochemical News Network, according to the World Natural Gas Network on May 7th, Woodfibre LNG has signed a new sales and purchase agreement with BP, taking a new step.
According to the agreement, Woodfeber LNG, a subsidiary of Pacific Oil & Gas, will annually deliver 750,000 tons of LNG to BP's BP Natural Gas Market Company.
The contract period is 15 years, and the delivery will be carried out at FOB.
This latest purchase and sale agreement will increase BPGM's total LNG production to 1.
The Woodfeber LNG project is located about 7 kilometers west-southwest of Squamish, British Columbia.
The project involved the construction and operation of an LNG export facility on the site of the former Woodfield Pulp Mill.
The facility has a storage capacity of 250,000 cubic meters and can produce approximately 2.
The project is scheduled to start construction in 2020, but due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the project has been postponed to the summer of 2021.
The project also received an environmental assessment certificate issued by the Provincial Environmental Assessment Office for an extension of 5 years.

Woodfibre LNG has taken another step forward with the signing of a new sale and purchase agreement with BP.
Under the agreement, Woodfibre LNG, a unit of Pacific Oil & Gas, will deliver 0.
