In April 2021, the key R&D project of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China led by Yanchang Petroleum Group - the key technologies and demonstration units for co-hydrogenation of coal and heavy oil and product processing, passed the on-site 72-hour assessment for continuous operation

On the basis of passing the project acceptance of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and according to the arrangements of Yanchang Petroleum Group, the Oil and Coal New Technology Development Company fully started the equipment maintenance and production preparations, and successively completed the equipment maintenance, hydrogen production unit desulfurizer, conversion catalyst loading and unloading, and raw material procurement.
