On January 9, the 2021 annual work meeting of the Hainan Yangpu Petrochemical New Materials Academician Workstation was held.
This conference is held in a combination of online and offline.
Since its establishment, the Academician Workstation has focused on key issues such as promoting the high-quality development of Hainan's refining and chemical integration, coordinating the construction of a million-ton ethylene project, and planning the development of Yangpu Petrochemical's new material industry, providing services for the optimization and upgrading of Hainan's refining and chemical integration.
At present, the two subjects of "Consulting on Optimization of Ethylene and Aromatics Raw Materials for Hainan Refinery and Chemicals" and "Consulting on Engineering Optimization of ethylene Project under Construction" have been completed, and remarkable results have been achieved
At the same time, the academician workstation actively cooperates with Yangpu Development Zone to carry out investment promotion for the petrochemical new material industry.
In the next step, the academician workstation will take the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port as an opportunity to complete and put into operation the 1 million tons/year ethylene and refining expansion project of Hainan Refining & Chemical Co.
The academician workstation will focus on the follow-up development issues after the completion of the million-ton ethylene project, and carry out research on the crude oil cracking to ethylene project, so as to provide sufficient raw materials for the new material base in Yangpu Development Zone.
Li Guoliang emphasized in his speech that the Hainan Yangpu New Materials Academician Workstation is a "high-end think tank" for the development of the petrochemical industry in Hainan, and has made outstanding contributions to the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port
It is reported that the supporting unit of the academician workstation is Sinopec Hainan Refining and Chemical Company, which was unveiled on March 26, 2021.
