On March 16, Yangzi Petrochemical successfully produced UE2815GA, a new product of EVA hot-melt compound, for the first time.

Hot-melt adhesives with EVA hot-melt adhesive as the main component are widely used in book binding, furniture edge banding, automobile and electrical assembly, shoemaking, carpet coating because they do not contain solvents, do not pollute the environment and have high safety.

At the beginning of this year, the EVA production technical team of Yangzi Petrochemical determined the target of tackling key problems, and made full use of the favorable opportunity on the eve of the overhaul of the device to develop and produce new EVA hot-melt adhesive products

The new product has a high melting index and is difficult to control the polymerization reaction, which is a great test for the stable operation of the extruder and other equipment

Yangzi Petrochemical has organized relevant units to conduct special seminars for many times, revised the process control indicators and parameters, strictly controlled all links in the production conversion process, and successfully completed the first trial production of new EVA hot-melt adhesive products
