It is reported that, following the Yanshan Petrochemical 1 Yuefen successful customized production of 200 Dun radiation-resistant medical grade polypropylene products K2945R after, and try essential for the success in the customer's plant, 3 Yuefen row in turn expand production to 800 tons, to meet market demand.

In November 2020 , Yanshan Petrochemical learned from a communication with a medical device manufacturer that the market has an urgent need for radiation-resistant consumables, requiring products to have high flow, low precipitation, transparency and resistance to gamma radiation.

On January 25 , K2945R, a new gamma-irradiated medical polypropylene product, was successfully produced.

In the next step, Yanshan Petrochemical High-Tech Company and Synthetic Resin Plant will also work closely together, and plan to continue to improve the performance of K2945R products in March , expand the scale of mass production, and use new catalysts to develop radiation-resistant, low-precipitation medical copolymer polypropylene.
