After Tianjin Petrochemical, Qilu Petrochemical, Yangzi Petrochemical and Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Alkylation Units were successfully started up and running smoothly, Sinopec has added two new successful start-up and operation units: Zhongke Refinery and Shanghai Petrochemical in August 2020.
After Tianjin Petrochemical, Qilu Petrochemical, Yangzi Petrochemical and Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Alkylation Units were successfully started up and running smoothly, Sinopec has added two new successful start-up and operation units: Zhongke Refinery and Shanghai Petrochemical in August 2020.
At 10 o'clock in the evening on August 27, 2020, the newly built alkylation unit of Zhongke Guangdong Refining & Chemical Co.
On August 30, 2020, Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical’s 400,000-ton/year alkylation unit was successfully started up at one time.
So far, of the seven alkylation units licensed by DuPont to Sinopec, six units have been successfully operated, and another Fujian United Petrochemical alkylation unit is under full construction.
It is reported that all devices adopt DuPont's new generation STRATCO®-XP2 sulfuric acid alkylation technology, and DuPont provides Sinopec with alkylation technology license, process package design and proprietary equipment.
Previously, Tianjin Petrochemical’s 300,000-ton/year alkylation unit was successfully started up on August 11, 2018, and passed the performance assessment in November of that year.
