Sinopec News Network reported that Well 6 of Side 1 is a side drilling well deployed by Zhongyuan Oilfield in Block Ming 6 of Wenmingzhai Oilfield.
The purpose is to improve the injection-production well pattern in complex structures

The well is located in the Ming 498 small fault block in the northwest of Ming 6 block in Wenmingzhai Oilfield.
Due to many secondary faults and complex local structures, the injection-production well pattern of this fault block is imperfect
.

The technical staff of the Institute of Geology of Wenwei Oil Production Plant, Zhongyuan Oilfield, combined with the Institute of Geological Exploration and Development, re-understood the Ming 498 small fault block on the basis of fine stratigraphic correlation and reservoir research.

In order to improve the injection-production well pattern in this well area, two new wells were deployed through full demonstration, forming a well pattern of one injection and two production

From August to September of 2021, Ming 487 side 1 and Ming 6 side 1 will be put into production successively to gradually improve the Ming 498 small fault block.
