It is understood that the State Environmental Protection Administration announced on December 13 that 10 types of projects are not allowed to pass the environmental review and approval.

These projects are: located in drinking water source protection areas, nature reserves, scenic spots, important ecological function areas, and ecological environment sensitive areas, projects that affect the ecological environment and pollute the environment; projects that do not conform to the overall urban planning and environmental protection planning ; Projects located in the core area and buffer zone of the nature reserve; occupying the experimental area of ​​the nature reserve and causing damage to the local ecological environment, or built in the periphery of the nature reserve, but damaging the environmental quality and ecology in the nature reserve Functional construction projects; the pollutant discharge of the original facilities does not meet the national and local emission standards and total control requirements, and the measures of “replace the old with the new” and “replace the small with the big” can not be adopted to achieve “increased production without increasing pollution” Projects with serious environmental pollution, inferior product quality, high energy consumption, high material consumption, high water consumption, and pollutants that cannot meet the discharge standards; where the environmental quality cannot meet the requirements of the environmental function zone and the pollution load cannot be reduced through alternative measures such as regional balance Projects; new, expansion, and renovation projects for companies that have been explicitly ordered to control the pollution within a time limit, as well as the pollution control projects in the "Two Control Area" pollution control plan, the Three Gorges Reservoir area and the upstream water pollution control plan that did not complete the pollution control task within the deadline.
