    On May 15, the 2021 National Nutrition Week and the "5·20" Chinese Student Nutrition Day home kick-off meeting was successfully held in Beijing.


    Entrusted by Lei Haichao, Deputy Director of the National Health Commission and Executive Deputy Director of the National Nutrition and Health Steering Committee, Liu Jinfeng, Director of the Food Department of the National Health Commission, delivered a speech at the kick-off meeting.

    Chen Mengshan, director of the National Food and Nutrition Advisory Committee, said that the theme of this year's "Nutrition for All Week" is "Reasonable Diet and Nutrition Benefits Ten Thousands of Families", which contains the core concept of building a nutritious and healthy family by the whole society, and demonstrates the overall well-off of urban and rural residents.

    In the launching ceremony, Chen Mengshan, Director of the National Food and Nutrition Advisory Committee, Liu Jinfeng, Director of the Food Department of the National Health and Health Commission, Hu Qiangqiang, Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of the National Health and Health Commission, Department of Sports, Health and Art Education, Ministry of Education, First Inspector Liu Peijun, Deputy Director, Mulan, Deputy Director of the Food Coordination Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation, Zhou Jinyao, Deputy Director of the Youth Sports Department of the State Sports General Administration, Feng Zhaohui Second Inspector of the Women's Development Department of the All-China Women’s Federation, Yang Yuexin, Chairman of the Chinese Nutrition Society, Chinese students Chairman Chen Yongxiang of the Association for the Promotion of Nutrition and Health, Director Li Ning of the National Food Safety Risk Assessment Center, and Director Li Changning of the China Health Education Center jointly launched the 2021 "Rational Diet and Nutrition Benefiting Ten Thousands" publicity campaign.

    Also announced at the meeting were the Office of the National Nutrition and Health Steering Committee, the Chinese Nutrition Society, the Chinese Student Nutrition and Health Promotion Association, the Nutrition and Health Institute of the Chinese Center for Disease Control, the Institute of Food and Nutrition Development of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the National Food Safety Risk Assessment Center.

    Nutrition and health volunteer representatives from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) across the country jointly launched the "tens of millions" voluntary action of reasonable diet through the "cloud connection" method.

    The conference also focused on the dissemination theme of "Reasonable Diet and Nutrition Benefiting Wanjia", and gave special reports on topics such as the establishment of nutrition and health schools, the construction and practice of nutrition and health restaurants, nutritional catering, meal quality, serving chopsticks, and no waste.
