On July 10, Jinling Petrochemical's 600,000-ton/year isobutane plant passed the project appraisal organized by the Science and Technology Department of China Petrochemical Corporation

The appraisal experts spoke highly of the project, and believed that the technical scheme of the project was advanced and reasonable, the engineering design was safe and reliable, the energy saving effect was remarkable, the hydrogenation catalyst had excellent performance, innovation and independent intellectual property rights, and the overall technology was at the international leading level

? The isobutane plant is designed by SEI and uses a combined process of extractive distillation and hydrogenation to produce high-purity isobutane.
The hydrogenation part uses SHP-C4 high-performance hydrorefining catalyst from Shanghai Research Institute

Compared with similar catalysts at home and abroad, the catalyst has obvious advantages in performance

The device was successfully started up in June 2017.
Under the condition of repeated fluctuations in the composition of the raw materials, it has been operating stably for 25 months, and all indicators of the hydrogenation reactor outlet have reached the requirements

The device was calibrated at full load for 72 hours in April 2019, and all indicators were better than the design values
