The Banna Botanical Garden Ethnic Medicine Research Group of the Key Laboratory of Sustainable Utilization of Tropical Plant Resources and their collaborators adopted a research strategy based on phenotype and pharmacological activity and guided by activity screening .
The research results, titled Alpinia hainanensisRhizome Extract Ameliorates Dextran Sulfate Sodium-Induced Ulcerative Colitis: Active Ingredient Investigation and Evaluation , were published online in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry , a well- known international academic journal of the American Chemical Society .
In addition, the previous research results of assistant researcher Ji Kailong of the research group on the traditional Dai medicine of Amomum have also been published in The Journal of Organic Chemistry , 2019 , 84 , 282-288 .
