The medical security bureaus of all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:

In order to promote the reform of medical insurance payment methods and lead the deepening of the DRG/DIP payment reform, on the basis of voluntary declarations and evaluations in various regions, a list of DRG/DIP demonstration cities has been determined (see the attachment for details)

The implementation of a diversified and compound medical insurance payment method based on disease-based payment is an important task to implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, and to improve the reform of the medical security system.

Demonstration cities should focus on key tasks such as expanding coverage, building mechanisms, laying foundations, and promoting coordination, increase reform and innovation, and continue to promote the in-depth development of payment method reforms

Provincial-level medical insurance departments should implement the main responsibilities, formulate supporting policies, and lead the reform of medical insurance payment methods to accelerate the development of demonstration sites
