On April 19, Shenzhen Watmind issued an announcement stating that its product, the new coronavirus (2019-nCoV) antigen detection kit (colloidal gold method) (WANTAISARS-CoV-2AgRapidTest (ColloidalGold)) has been awarded the German federal drug and The medical device institution (Bundesinstitut für Arzneimittel und Medizinprodukte, BfArM) approved the listing.

This is another success of the kit after obtaining the EU CE certification (for use by professionals) in January this year.

It is worth mentioning that as of March this year, the German Federal Institute of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices (Bfarm) has approved 44 rapid self-test products to be launched, of which Chinese companies have done a lot and 17 products have been approved.
