US media said that Anderson was shocked by the description of the laboratory by some media outside of China and the subsequent attacks on scientists
Some western media reported that three researchers from the Wuhan laboratory had been hospitalized with flu-like symptoms in November 2019, but Anderson said that as of the end of 2019, none of the people in the Wuhan Virus Institute she knew had ever been sick.
In addition, as a scientist who has cooperated with some well-known virologists for many years, Anderson believes that although the pathogen may escape from the laboratory, she still believes that it is likely to come from nature
