Bee king pulp composition may maintain stem cell erration

, published in the journal Nature Communications, suggests that the protein group bee king pulp main protein 1 (MRJP1) maintains the erpotentity of embryonic stem cells in mice. The study also found its structural similarity, Regina, in mammals. Regina has a similar effect on stem cell potentity, revealing the intrinsic mechanism of stem cell self-renewal.

Kevin Wang and colleagues at Stanford University School of Medicine in California found that MRJP1 activates the erypotent gene network of embryonic stem cells in in vitro cultured mice and maintains these cells without the absence of other embryonic stem cell maintenance factors. After the cells cultured with MRJP1 are injected into the mouse blastocyst, the embryos can still produce live mice, and these cells can also be incorporated into the mice's reproductive cells. The researchers also found Regina, a structural similarity to MRJP1, in mammals.
