    Belarusian Council of Ministers issued a ban on some grain exports

    Belarusian News Agency, Minsk, August 26, according to the Belarusian State Legal Portal, according to the Resolution No.
    482 of the Belarusian Council of Ministers on August 24, 2021, Belarus temporarily banned the export of wheat , mixed wheat ( a mixture of wheat and rye ), Rye, barley , oats , corn , buckwheat , millet, triticale (a hybrid of wheat and rye ), rapeseed and other grains
    .
     
    The country of origin of the above-mentioned commodities is not allowed to be exported from Belarus, except for the following situations: international humanitarian assistance and storage for foreign countries based on government resolutions; international transit transportation starting and ending outside the customs of the Eurasian Economic Union ; Transit Belarusian commodities circulating in other member states of the Union
    .
    The resolution stipulates that the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall notify the Eurasian Economic Commission on the implementation of non-tariff control measures, and submit to the Eurasian Economic Commission a proposal to adopt similar temporary measures within the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union
    .

     
    The resolution shall take effect from the date of official announcement and shall be valid for six months
    .
